— 2 Apples
— 1 Cucumber
— 1-3 inches Ginger

— Parsley is a wonderful healing herb for the kidneys & adrenals. It also detoxifies bad breath! It is full of life!
— Apples are great for sweetness & energy! They also contain pectins which detoxify the GI tract, as well as the small & large intestines.
— Cucumbers are full of electrolytes, hydration & alkaline minerals…and they add body to your juice.
— Ginger is the heal-all!
— Lemon tightens up the cells, and tones up the body
— If you want a sweeter juice, peel the carrots! But I know some of you feel it is just the opposite! Regardless, what’s important to remember is that if you are carrots are INorganic, you MUST peel them no matter what. If they are organic, you can choose either way. Experiment & have fun!
— Fresh aloe leaf helps to cool and soothe any inflammation in the GI tract…make sure to not use too much, it can be powerful stuff!

— Now, HOW the fruits & vegetables work on the body (or should I say not get stuck in the body, and so let the body do its thing with minimal obstructions). is much more complex and higher-order than we could ever hope to explain with words or with scientific thinking. I am not trying to dis science, it certainly has its place, but why on earth do we need to over-analyze and break down all the little but powerful properties of fruits & vegetables until we’re blue in the face? How about we all just eat and drink them instead? It is so obvious that Mother Nature intended for us to enjoy them as the primary part of our diets, and it is already so obvious that they have benefits for us…even the mainstream can agree with that.
— Also, its not just about only consuming what is best for us, it is honoring the fact that what we hold in our minds affects the functionality of all of our cells, and of what we consume…which is why I personally feel it is insane that some health teachers will say eating fruit will kill you or feed your cancer, when helllooooooo, it is the food of mankind. It is is the food of healthy cells. Yes, a lower volume of fruit for some people at some times might be more beneficial for various reasons, but that doesn’t mean fruit itself feeds, and therefore causes cancer! WOOAHHH!
— SO…let’s just drink our fruits & vegetables! …and let’s just eat our fruits & vegetables!

“Health Food” vs. Healthy Food — How to read labels

— Here’s a TIP: Don’t go to the store hungry, or else you’ll come home with half the store.
— I’ve been getting a lot of questions about how long the ‘transition’ will take for moving from a state of unhealthiness into healthiness. Well, 9 yrs later & I’m still in the middle of the transition period! Don’t think of this as you being on another temporary health kick; rather, look at it as you having made the choice to become & stay healthy…FOREVER! And there is no need to feel scared by that thought, as if it is going to be something too challenging to accomplish. For me at least, it definitely would be more challenging to deal with the consequences of becoming more & more obese across my lifetime, w/ various ailments popping up in my body as I age…gout, diabetes, heart disease, cancer… Trust me when I say that getting & staying healthy is going to be easier…even if it takes a lifetime!…for didn’t you want to look & feel healthy for your entire lifetime?
— There is nothing inherently wrong or bad about junk food, processed food & cooked animal foods, etc…humans are still able to “stay alive” eating those foods…but what I like to do is choose the foods that FEEL better for my body, have less negative consequences, & more positive benefits.
— Leading a healthy lifestyle is simply my own personal trip…it doesn’t make me better than anyone else & I’d like each of you to not make the mistake of ever thinking that it does.
— Look at achieving & maintaining health as a LIFETIME venture. Nobody really ‘loses’ by eating better, save for a few pizza & ice cream parties. But if you are/were to be obese, you wouldn’t be able to do SO many things…so who cares if you miss out on a pizza party! You’re gaining a LIFETIME of health!
— Try walking the “Razor’s Edge” with your eating…don’t eat those last few bites of food which only end up making you feel too full…keep the LIGHTNESS within you.
— Be nice to yourself, for you’re NOT the only one who uses food as a love mechanism, that’s for sure! Want to know why? The food loves us back with no resistance. All food ‘wants’ to be eaten. So it’s an easy (but dangerous) way to receive unconditional love. Unlike how it might be between us and our parents, preachers, teachers, doctors & lawyers.
— Food loves you back as much as you love it, so instead of denying that fact the trick is to allow yourself to fall in love with the foods that leave behind the least residues & metabolic wastes! It’s as simple as that!
