Whats the best diet/healthy eating plan to go on?
im not fat but i would like to be healthy and tone up. just wonderin what diets work because all mine fail within a week. i am slim but i eat mainly fatty foods and have a big gut. what can i do? also have quite spotty skin at the moment, thinking my diet might have something to do with that?
The best thing i would suggest is by just eating 3 meals a day. By eating fatty foods they can make your skin bad and can give you spots! also by drinking lots of water will help your skin and make you feel more refreshed!
By going on a diet, a certain one such as low carbs.. when you lose weight and stop the diet, its just going to pile back on.
by just sticking to 3 meals, if you wants a snack have a piece of fruit, or even a packet of snack a jacks instead of crisps or a mars bar! i hope i was a bit of a help! x

find one that avoids Carbohydrates (Spelling, yer ano.) And focus’s on Protein. Your body believes you have ate more than you have if you eat protein.. As Far as the spots go.. Jus Eat Ya Fruit n Veg… DONT USE CLEARSIL N THT!!!… Tone Up? Plenty of Cardiovascular Exercise.. and 15 then 20 then 25 sit ups a night and morning.. NOTICEABLE CHANGES WITHIN TWO WEEEEEKS! …. No Real Plan..Am Sure Ya Could Find One

You need to go on a change of lifestyle plan. That’s why every other diet plan you tried has failed before. It will continue to do so unless you change your lifestyle. If you start by consulting your physician first, they might refer you to a dietician then they would help you with a meal plan and it goes on from there.

I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.
It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.
Also start counting your calories. Write them down. You would be amazed as to how much more aware you are of your caloric intake, if you actually write it down. We recently discovered a site that offers a great program that counts calories, as well as keeps track of everything. It allows multiple users, so everyone in the family can keep track. They offer a free 7 day trial, and so far I am very impressed with the product. Try the 7 days and see. It allows you to add the exercise that you do during the day, which increases the amount of calories you can take in. Very Cool!!

No tricks,no short cuts, no faddy food. Watch your total calorie intake, make sure this includes a goodly amount of assorted fruit and veg. But we are not only what eat we are so very much what we don’t do!
30-40 minutes of vigorous exercise 4-5 days a week, and include some sit ups. Sounds easy!

The Rosemary Connolly diet is great. See if there is a club near by as they weigh you advise you on what food is best to eat and they do aerobics. When I joined I was fairly slim but needed to loose a little weight and this group was great because it included exercise.

My family has been on the South Beach Diet for 2 months. My husband’s lost 24lbs, I’ve lost 18 and daughter has lost 17. Two weeks you have to do without carbs but then starting the 3rd week you add back the "good" carbs (whole grain bread and pasta, brown or wild rice, etc). There are no limits on portions and it even recommends snacks between breakfast and lunch and lunch and dinner. Also, sugar free desserts are encouraged. I am hypothyroid and it works for me.

Beccaxgoddess couldn’t be more wrong. It is much better to eat 5 times a day but smaller portions as this will increase your metabolism. Low carb diets are a heathly option – no carb diets like Atkins isn’t. The problem is that so many of us in todays society eat way more carbs than we burn off and a lot of people get addicted to them.
On a low carb diet you will sleep better which will help your skin, you will eat more veg and thereby get more vitamins and minerals which will also help your skin, you will loose weight and have more energy.
It is also important not just to change your diet but to do regular excercise, there is no easy way to fitness. Also a diet is not for short term, is learnin gto eat heathly and doing so for the rest of your life.
